Small 4" Onyx Vase

Onyx is a banded variety of chalcedony, a cryptocrystalline form of quartz. The array of coloration in the layers of onyx is simply amazing; from gorgeous translucent greens to warm reds and golden hues. Onyx has been mined and used for jewelry, stoneware and other carvings for centuries.

All of our onyx is carefully hand selected from Pakistan. We carry very little Onyx compared with other shops for the simple reason; we prefer to choose only the highest quality onyx available. We always make certain any piece we select has what we consider beautiful coloration as well. Furthermore, unlike other onyx stoneware on the market, none of our pieces will have any unsightly fill. Other than being mined and shaped, all of the onyx we provide to you is completely natural.
