More Information
Mount Meru is located in one of the most beautiful regions of the Himelayan mountain range, with beautiful glaciers and a height in excess of 21,000 feet. The final climb to the top of Mount Meru is called the Shark Fin and is the 1,500-foot vertical rock wall considered one of the hardest climbs in the world. The sacred Ganga river flows from there. This region is the center of the Hindus Indian people for the "Holy Bath" and meditation. Colorless, transparent rock crystal is the purest form of quartz. It is found on every continent on Earth, but those mined by hand from the vast Himalayan mountain range contain the highest of spiritual powers. In Hinduism, Mount Meru is the center of the physical, metaphysical, and spiritual universes and the home of deities Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Miners carry the quartz specimens out in packs, wrapped in layers of fabric to protect the clusters from damage.
