The specimen had found a nice home. However, it has returned to us, and we are now once again fortunate enough to be able to offer it for purchase. Everything about this piece is right, from its stand that presents the specimen in a intimidating position, to its 100% natural 1-7/8"" long canines. 6. Megalodon Shark tooth with Bite Mark!

Megalodon Shark tooth with Bite Mark!

    $495.00

When ever a fossil displays some type of story, it instantly becomes that much more interesting. Such is the case with this specimen. Most likely, the animal belonging to this tooth was in a fast encounter with another Meg, as they had a feeding frenzy upon a wale. But, it could also have been a territorial issue. We'll never know. Regardless, the specimen is nicely sized, has very nice enamel retention, good display side burlet and tip. The serrations aren't what we like to see, being rather smooth. But the bite mark more than makes up for that..
