In Honor of Memorial Day, the Shop will be Closed, Monday, May 31st.
Hi folks! COVID cases are down! So, we are allowed to have up to 25 people in the shop &15 people in the museum. However, on Saturdays, the museum will remain closed and used only as an area for those waiting to shop. (However, if we're slow we can sneak you down there, if you like.) For now, face covering & use of hand sanitizer are still required when entering. We ask that people please not come in with large groups, and please limit their stays to under an hour, so others can have the opportunity to also do their shopping. If we have customers in line, waiting to get in, please be aware of that and be considerate. Thanks again for your continued understanding & support!
We welcome local schools and clubs to choose our museum as a destination for their field trip or outing. As always, visiting our museum collection is absolutely free of charge.
A few things we'd like to call attention to:
Please call at least one week in advance during store hours to schedule your group visit and read our guidelines below before scheduling your group visit.
Remember that all visits are self-guided, and that each group is responsible for the conduct of its members.
Make sure to have an appropriate number of adult chaperones for your group. Minors must be accompanied by an adult both in the store and in the museum.
Due to space limitations, groups of more than twenty people (including chaperones) are not permitted in the museum all at once. If your group is larger than twenty people, we ask that you divide the group so that one portion can enjoy shopping upstairs in our store while others see the museum collection in the basement, alternating with each other.
The storefront is wheelchair accessible; however the museum is only accessible on foot by a staircase.
No strollers are permitted in the museum.
Photography is permitted on a case-by-case basis.
