Quick Overview

This large raptor claw has well defined blood lines on both sides, classic coloration and an unrepaired tip. There is only ~ 10-15% repair, (which is not uncommon). This is an excellent specimen and one of the nicer claws we are proud to offer!  The paperwork on the specimen is not available. So, after conferring with other specialists, we've narrowed the species down to either Deinonychus, translated to ("terrible claw") or Dromaeosaur ("runner"). However, if we're mistaken, it might wind up being from an unidentified raptor species.

Measurements: ~3-1/2" long x 1" wide

Velociraptor lived approximately 75 to 71 million years ago during the latter part of the Cretaceous Period.
