Cactus Amethyst (Spirit Quartz)
A cluster of large and well formed cactus amethyst points with a gentle light purple hue throughout. The base is cut flat for easy display. The terminations are clean and have a nice luster.

Cactus Quartz, or Spirit Quartz, is a unique formation of Quartz that is only found in the Magaliesberg Mountains in South Africa. They are characterized by its core crystal structure having hundreds of smaller crystals growing along the prism faces. Typically, the main termination of the core crystals remain free of the "cactus" formation. Typically, Cactus Quartz is in varieties of Amethyst, Citrine, Smokey, and White Quartz.

Cactus Quartz, also known in the metaphysical world as Spirit Quartz, is an unusual member of the Quartz family - a community within a stone.
