Hello Folks! We're at that point where wearing masks is not required! If you haven't been vaccinated however, we ask you to please be considerate to others and still wear one. On another note, the city begins road work this Friday, June, 18th. The public parking lot will remain available just West of the shop, at 721 Main. On Saturdays, you will also be able to keep parking on the street. Thank you again for your support & understanding!
A kachina (or katsina) is a religious icon from the Hopi culture. Hopi kachinas are elaborately carved by artists who spend their whole life studying the art of carving as well as aquiring a deep understanding of Hopi spirituality. Other cultures like the Navajo (Dineh) have adopted kachina making, integrating some of thier own icons into the craft.
